PVC HANDBLOWING PROJECT is an art project that Kodai Iwamoto, a product designer, has been working on since 2018. Iwamoto realized how easily our values and perspectives change over time, and he was exploring ways to increase the value of the items around us. Then he remembered the thermoplasticity of the PVC pipes he often used to make prototypes and began working on them.

He creates all of vases with his own hands. The procedure is first to heat the pipe with an infrared heater to soften it and then blow it from one end. Currently, three variants have been released, one with moulds and one without.
