DESIGN NOTE
A design appealing to people's feelings
Friendly form that people want to come

Started with a simple question "What is the ideal shape that people want to come and touch?", the sofa was created. The design was developed from the perspective of being able to appeal to people's feelings.
The designer Harada repeated making prototypes with clay and eventually came up with a shape that looked like connected marshmallows.
It was quite a different design process for him, as he preferred a simple design and minimalist style. He said he felt a great response when he saw people sitting on the sofas at the Tokyo Designers Week exhibition.
