Winners Announced at KUKAN OF THE YEAR/KUKAN DESIGN AWARD 2022
Three projects, ‘Route to root - retracing the story of down. -’, ‘Slow, Slow, Slow Poem’, and ‘Kamikatsu Zero Waste Center’ receive KUKAN OF THE YEAR, as a grand prize of KUKAN DESIGN AWARD 2022.
KUKAN DESIGN AWARD was established to connect the value of spatial design to the future and the annual award, co-organised by DSA (Japan Design Space Association) and JCD (Japan Commercial Environmental Design Association), is recognised as the most prestigious spatial design award in Japan. On 25 October, the award ceremony took place at Tokyo Design Center.

At the ceremony, a talk session featuring the three winners, Satoshi Yoshizumi, Kyota Takahashi, and Hiroshi Nakamura, with the moderator Naoki Iijima, was held.
