Usually, when I looked at the furniture around , I thought that the shapes and uses were similar. We erased the concept of furniture shapes that we usually see, and re-examined the style of furniture with new shapes and uses.
"Reste" is a work that incorporates geometric features into furniture.
This furniture is all made of circular structure. Unit furniture that can be used simultaneously by separating different shapes from the shape of a circle.
By collecting circles, a gentle curve passing between the circles is created. By separating parts with this curve, the separated parts can be returned to one circle again. I thought about the shape of unit furniture from this structure.
This furniture is composed by cutting out 10 parts from plywood. By changing the position where each part is separated, beautiful spirals can be created.
By cutting the surface of the circle into triangles, the shape became more integrated. In addition, the bottom is designed so that dust does not collect.
The usage is a table and a display cabinet. Furniture is also an art that colors the space. I was particular about the beauty of the shape.
