· Machine tools

Woodworking machines are roughly divided into cutting and cutting. A rough surface is cut and smoothed, and then cut to create a member.

Kanna machines that have a primitive structure are still used today for smoothing surfaces, but cutting-edge cross-cutting machines and vertical cutting machines have a state-of-the-art machine with a touch panel and automatic control parts. You. There is also a woodworking cutting machine that has become popular in recent years.

· Construction method / structure

There is a joint in Japanese traditional processing. By cutting wood into various shapes and combining them like puzzles, they connect trees in a form that is difficult to connect. Even among a large number of joints, we used a simple and strong method of chipping. Since the two pieces of wood are cut off in the same shape, the joined pieces will support each other, effectively acting like one piece. It is a very clear construction method, and the beautifully arranged lack of even a design.

· Material

Rawan plywood is now an essential material for manufacturing. It is a material that plays an active role in various situations, such as base materials, waste materials, and study models. It can be said that it is a familiar material that is handled almost everywhere at home centers, as well as at building materials stores. The grain is unclear, and the color ranges from reddish to yellow. The wood itself is relatively soft, and its thickness and strength are almost uniform. It is a very compatible material with the latest woodworking machines that have emerged in recent years.

· Form

Due to the characteristics of the plywood material, it was possible to make the components thin and thin, and I was conscious of a straightforward shape that was not too strong. The shapes were carefully designed while observing the role and appearance of each piece of furniture, and the balance when arranged as a family.

· to Make

What is making?

There are stages when making things, such as actual measurement, shape determination, designing, creating data, cutting wood, assembling, finishing, painting, outsourcing to contractors, etc. I don't think that doing all of this on your own is not always about making things. If you can't do it yourself, you can rely on others. But you shouldn't despise what you couldn't do. I did all the design and production myself, but making things takes time and energy. Everything is born out of difficulties. I think it's about making things that work, things that don't work, everything. Easily, no one is born without getting his hands dirty.
