This is a chair that can recognize the attractiveness and material characteristics of wood.

Due to changes in the environment and lifestyles, people can no longer feel close to wood, and more and more people do not know the goodness and charm of wood. Therefore, I researched how to express the attractiveness of wood and created a chair that can recognize its attractiveness, value, and material characteristics.

The material is a combination of solid pine.

I rubbed the powder of aluminum from painting the paint, wearing a gap of visual and tactile. At first glance, it looks cold and hard like metal, but when you actually touch it, you can feel the warmth and softness that are characteristic of wood.

The wood with pith often cracks even when it is sufficiently dried.

“Kintsugi”, a traditional Japanese technique, was applied to that part, and the design was applied while reinforcing it with a mixture of gold powder and resin.

This is an object that makes people feel strongly about the material characteristics of wood.
