“Making a detour to under the big tree”
For the past year, I have been seriously thinking about the happiness and health of myself and others.
Then, word " detour came to me.
For me, being able to take a detour, being impressed by small things, and being able to find beautiful things are one of the indicators of my good condition.
I want to remember to have that kind of thinking for ever.
I am proposing detour to everyone here. I would like you to take what you experienced and the trivial things you found today home with you.
Concept
A place where people do not usually go in and out is also a place where there is room for many people to discover and experience emotions.
This work started when I made a detour into a hedge where people rarely set foot in spite of being a comfortable place.
This work retains a part of its structure by being supported by the large tree which is the symbol of this place. In addition to the meaning that it was the foundation of my heart, by experiencing the place and realizing a large scale feeling while grasping what was read from the place as the advantage of the ground, the feelings and verbs switch "seeing" to "entering" for you as well.
I tried that the rhythm of the sculpture's one-stroke drawing reads people not only into the hedge, and the consciousness of the space of the person who entered the hedge will stay in it, but also to the outside of the hedge, to the vegetation at the feet, and to the sky back of the tree looking up.
Based on this idea, I personyfied the detour will not be a hassle, and
an environment that can trigger an emotional experience that broadens the horizons of consciousness by one shape and one place.
